Thank you for the comparison; I looked him up and recognized him as the illustrator in one of the scary story books I read when I was younger. :P Fluttershy in a creepier style would be interesting…

I finally installed Illustrator just now. I haven’t used it since high school, and I think that version was CS4 — this one is CS5.1. I’m still trying to make the workspace easier to get around as I try to remember how to use this thing…

I saw this meme and saw the eroge style box and was like “el oh el what even” so…yeah. I’m sure it would make more sense to make something more erotic if you filled in that box. XD Instead I scribbled this out, some kind of greyscale VN thing. I never actually finished any VN and I’ve only played a few: Narcissu, A Day of Summer, and Katawa Shoujo. I have Steins;Gate sitting around, but haven’t installed it yet. Yep. I tried to draw ridiculous boobs, but they’re defos not ridiculous enough.

Some drawings from the third-to-last (I think) session in my drawing class. I’ve drawn this model at least four times already, but he’s a really good one. It’s interesting to have the same models, obviously to see progression, but also to see their “signature” poses, especially for the short warm-up poses. I should find drawings of these “repeat” models, find those similar poses, and then compare them sometime.

I’m trying to draw in 300 dpi more. This would be 11x15 cm if it was printed, so it’s 1299x1772 pixels. That’s actually not as bad as I thought…maybe I’ll make bookmarks and postcard-sized things when I get better.

I started painting over this in a sort of different way than I usually do it, but it looks scary, so I’ll figure out a better way to finish this one.
